Latest Northern California Trip

Every Thanksgiving for the past few years my family has taken a trip to Northern California. We usually stop in San Francisco first and then drive on down to Pebble Beach. I’ve been collecting images of this annual trip for a few years now. This last trip we did not stop in San Francisco but we did take a drive down through Big Sur. That’s where this photo of the Bixby Creek Bridge was taken.

We usually stay at The Lodge at Pebble Beach. This time my room was right on the 18th green of the Pebble Beach Golf Course. Here are some photos of the view from my patio.

We also took a drive along Carmel Beach. It’s so lovely along there with fabulous houses that face the beach. Below is an image of the beach.

Then there was the dinner at Mission Ranch. Mission Ranch is a working ranch owned by Clint Eastwood. There is lodging and a restaurant on the property. Sheep graze in the meadow. Below are some of the photos I took there this year.

And last but not least, there was a special moment while we were there. My daughters boyfriend proposed at the Lone Cypress! I was there to catch the moment. Unfortunately I cut off the Lone Cypress but I least I caught the moment.
